Attaching an Audio Clip

To attach an audio clip

Place your insertion point in the section to which you want to attach audio.
From the Insert menu, choose Audio Clip.
The Connection Speed dialog box is displayed.
This dialog box will not display if you specified a default connection speed on the Tools Options dialog box. For more information on choosing a connection speed, click here.
Select the connection speed at which most of your viewers will be connecting; then click OK.
The Insert Audio Clip dialog box is displayed.
Locate and select the audio clip that you want to attach.
Click Open.

In your e-show outline, the name of the audio clip will appear next to the section heading.

Alive e-Show supports only 8 bit or 16 bit audio samples. You can set the audio sample rate by clicking the Audio button on the Advanced tab of the Media Properties dialog box.
Alive e-Show supports the following audio file types:
- Windows audio (WAV files)
- Windows multimedia (AVI files)
- RealNetworks media (RAM and RM files)

To display the Insert Audio Clip dialog box, click in the media column; then when the Add Audio or Video dialog box is displayed, select Attach an existing audio or video clip from a file; then click Next.
The Picture tab of the Media Properties dialog box enables you to add a static picture of the speaker or your company logo to your section. This picture will be displayed in the e-show media area.
